CLD provides research assistance to individuals and groups engaged in legislative work or post-graduate research/studies about legislatures at the national and local levels in the Philippines.
CLD tracks and monitors legislation on selected policy areas and helps civil society organizations in analyzing proposed legislation on women’s issues and other gender concerns, local governance, and political reform.
Through its Bibliographic Resources on Gender and Governance, CLD collects and manages a database of resources on gender and governance. CLD shares approaches, strategies, and tools in political participation and advocacy in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as selected documents and information materials on the structure and processes of the Philippine Congress.
